1929 Fowler 10 n.h.p. Road Locomotive and Crane Engine - Wolverhampton Wanderer

Known as a 'Super Lion' B6 model, weighing 23 tons, this engine was bought new by John Thompson's of Ettingshall, Wolverhampton and was used to deliver and install their Lancashire type boilers all over the country until 1948, when it went into general use doing crane work around the stock yard. It is constructed with a ten ton front mounted crane. It is interesting to note that she is now fitted with the original copper firebox and has under-gone a test pressure of 300lbs per square inch.
