This engine was repossessed in 1926 from its first owners, C W Davey & son from Abbotham, near Bideford. It was then put out on hire to W J King of Bishops Lydeard for the sum of £5 per week. It was bought by them in 1929 and continued to be used on threshing contracts until the 1940's. It was then laid-up.
