Purchased new by C. & G. Yeoman Road Haulage Contractors, Canterbury. The engine then passed to the ownership of Fred Payne from Red Ball, Somerset who used it in forestry work. It was sold into preservation in 1957 to John Cooper of Whimple, Exeter.
